Haulers are not required to offer curbside collection of leaf and yard debris. Drop-off stations are required to collect food waste and leaf and yard debris. Leaf and yard debris are collected between April 1st through December 15th.<\/p>\n<p>Organic\u00a0material (such as food scraps, leaf and brush, and other materials) make up an average of over 25% of the residential and more than 15% of the industrial, commercial, and institutional waste stream in Vermont.
